Two important notes before we get into names. First, this model includes a velocity-differential feature. Pitchers' changeup grades get a small bump for their velocity differential away from their fastballs. each pitcher's fastball velocity minus their changeup velocity, sourced from the 2026 Fastballs tab and joined by name. As always, several components go into this Stuff+ grade including pitch shapes, vertical approach angle and outcomes, among other things.
For context: Stuff+ is scaled like wRC+ — 100 is average, 110 is good, 120 is plus, 130 is elite-rare. Our Stuff+ model is built with respect to college pitching and does not compare pitching metrics to MLB Stuff+ models. All seven names below …
