Friday was a good day to be a pitcher...

On the opening day of the 2026 NCAA Regional slate, four different players walked to the plate at four different ballparks and did the same extraordinary thing: hit three home runs in a single game. Under elevated, brighter lights, no less. Andrew Williamson at the Auburn Regional. Alex Hernandez in Atlanta. Jack Natili in Starkville. Anthony Pack Jr. in Austin. All in the same afternoon and evening. All in the biggest games of their respective seasons.

Here's how it happened.

Andrew Williamson, RF, UCF

The Auburn Regional was supposed to be a difficult draw for UCF. NC State is a tournament-tested program with a roster built to win regional weekends, and the Wolfpack came in as a legitimate threat to knock the Knights out early. Williamson had other plans.
