On Friday, multiple outlets reported LSU shortstop Steven Milam would be returning to LSU for his fourth season. He'll run it back in Baton Rouge in 2027.
Speaking with multiple sources inside of Major League Baseball, Milam has indeed already submitted the paperwork to formally remove his name from consideration for teams. He is officially not draft-eligible any longer. Furthermore, two sources close to the situation at LSU have confirmed paperwork has been filed internally on their side too.
