Best known for their basketball team, VCU had a strong season in the A10 that booked them a Friday date with North Carolina in Chapel Hill. Petite, VCU's typical two-hole hitter, brings a legitimate power-speed combination to mid-major baseball out of an explosive 6'0", 200-pound frame from the right side of the plate. He slashed .274/.434/.554 this season across 288 plate appearances, never missing a beat.
