Miami, Fla., native Jake Cueto has established himself as one of the more prominent outfielders in the 2027 class. While the Over-Slot staff currently has the University of Miami commit ranked No. 26 in the Top 150 High School Prospects rankings, he could soar much higher.
Cueto's efforts on the diamond have drawn heavy player comparisons to Corbin Carroll and Steven Kwan.
"I'm a hard-nosed ballplayer who competes every time I step on the field," Cueto said. "On the offensive side, I spread the field very well, hitting for both contact and power. I make plays all over the field defensively, while taking great routes, and I have some juice in the arm."
