Weather delays at East Coast Pro.

It comes with the territory, but it didn't take away from an exciting first day of action in Hoover, Alabama. Plenty of high-profile preps put on an intriguing display of tools and in-game production that force me to lean in a bit a times. The 2027 class looks like a strong crop of athletes, and particularly shortstops. Friday was just a first glimpse. I liked what I saw. 

The 2027 Draft is now less than a year out, roughly eleven months and counting, and one of the summer's most heavily scouted stages is dancing. The East Coast Pro Showcase brought its field of 2027-eligible talent (with a handful of 2028 names sprinkled in) to the diamond in front of a wall of pro evaluators.
