With the first day of the MLB Draft in the books, it’s clear different teams take different approaches to acquiring talent into their organization. It’s not as simple as who won on Day 1, it’s about who wins the draft.
Certain organizations may currently have what’s perceived as underwhelming classes, but the story isn’t completely closed on their classes. Some teams may look like they have loaded classes, but what they’ve sacrificed to get there hasn’t hit their draft class quite yet.
