On Friday, Ben Badler reported that Cullen Scott, a right-handed pitcher and third baseman from Melissa High School in Melissa, Texas had reclassified into the 2027 Draft. That report has since been confirmed. It's a big get for the class of 2027.

It was clear early on this summer that Scott's talent was far too advanced for the level of his peers. A two-way talent with awesome size and impact on both sides of the ball, most scouts believe Scott is destined to stay on the mound where polished operation, strikes, and burgeoning secondaries will set his path forward. That said, the bat has only continued to get bigger, loud and more impactful as he's packed on the muscle.
