The University of Georgia led the nation with a program-record 13 players selected in the 2026 MLB Draft. Now, one of its premier recruits, Carson Bruce, has a chance to hear his name called before ever reaching campus.

This wasn't promised. It didn't happen overnight.

"The winter going into my junior season, I decided to change the way I approach hitting. Instead of only taking feel-good rounds, I started focusing more on the details of my mechanics. I made a few changes, like improving my posture and cleaning up my bat path, and really started being more intentional with my work," Bruce said.
