Every year, scouts flock to Long Beach, California to take in the tools and talents of the names that have been plastered all over national boards for the better part of a year. The spectable that is Dylan Seward... the upside of Carter Hadnot... the polish of Lubin Rincon and the overwhelming stuff coming out of the right shoulder of George Ferguson. Without question, it's easy to get excited about these players. 

But that's half the equation. 

The other piece of the experience this week in Southern California is identifying players that perhaps you haven't heard of, or weren't on your radar yet. Finding players with tools, grit, a high IQ, and the ability to change the game without the fame.
