A popular pick to click after his first year in Division I baseball, Alex Conover has completely transformed his game in 2026.
Conover was one-and-done at Crowley Community College, adding a ton of physicality to his 6-foot-4 frame following his high school senior season. He arrived at Stillwater a strong, athletic 190 pounds with burgeoning raw power from the left side.
He settled into a part-time role to kick off his Cowboys tenure but eventually won a starting job, playing all three outfield spots throughout the season. Conover slashed .254/.370/.474 with 13 extra-base hits. A solid stat line, but the underlying metrics paint a bigger picture.
