Rose Colored Glasses: KC opts for Zion Rose at #6 overall

Undoubtedly the first move of the day that got everyone talking, Kansas City, who clearly was interested in cutting a deal to spread some draft capital around, opted for the talented Louisville outfielder with supreme contact abilities. Though many thought of Rose as a talent worthy of being selected in the first 15-20 picks of the night, few, if any, had him landing at six overall.
