On Thursday, Oxford (Al.) shortstop Rocco Maniscalco reclassified from the 2027 Draft Class into the 2026 Draft Class. A celebrated and decorated defensive standout, Maniscalco has a chance to become the youngest first round pick in the history of the event.
Maniscalco is coming off a 2024 summer where he served as Team USA's u16 everyday third baseman. He hit .375 for Team USA last summer en route to an invitation to the 2025 U18 team trials in Cary in late July. Maniscalco performed well showing hitterish traits and burgeoning bat speed from the left side of the plate.
