Will Gasparino is one of the more notable high-ceiling, low-floor prospects in this years draft. He possesses the upside to land in the top-half of the first round, while on the contrary, his floor could see him land a couple hundred picks lower. It’s a tough prospect to judge as he transfers from Texas back home to UCLA for this upcoming season.
Gasparino’s defensive and athletic ability certainly raises his floor. Standing at 6-foot-6, 210 pounds, it’s a long and tall frame that can at times look awkward due to his lengthy limbs, but he’s a plus runner with a plus arm in right field that provides exceptional defensive value in centerfield too. He takes strong routes to balls and was metrically one of the best centerfielders in the SEC in 2025.
