The SEC is the cream of the crop. It's where the highest concentration of college arms come from every year in the Draft. That said, there's a host of new names putting big stuff on display early on in 2026. These guys deserve more recognition, and should be well-placed on draft boards when eligible.
Wil Libbert, Ole Miss
Following his redshirt freshman season with Mizzou, Libbert was not a highly-touted item out of the transfer portal. Sure, anybody with starting experience in the SEC is worth paying attention to, but people weren’t exactly offering him blank checks – he posted a 6.04 ERA in 14 outings (11 starts) for the Tigers.
