UCLA opened up the 2026 season with a 2-1 series win over UC San Diego, led by an offense that scored 22 runs across their three games. The defense also stood out, with web gems being made all over the field. They went on to tack 13 more runs in their weekday matchup against another solid mid-major opponent in Tulane.
