You'd be hard-pressed to find many regions in the United States brimming with more baseball talent than the lower-half of Florida. Sarasota in particular has produced names like Ian Desmond and Scooter Gennett of late. Trinity Christian Academy shortstop Parker Loew could be next.

It was a rollercoaster 2025 for Loew. After transferring out of IMG Academy into Trinity Christian Academy prior to his junior season, Loew slashed .330/.439/.510 with three homers for the Conquerors in the spring. Loew struggled to reproduce those same results on the summer circuit. Across 28 games and 86 plate apperarances, Loew slashed .239/.333/.479, but added four homers. His 37 percent whiff rate and 28 percent strikeout rate left something to be desired. 

That said, it was a step in the right direction in a lot of ways.
