Last weekend, Florida State served up a whooping to ACC rival Wake Forest. The FSU pitching staff turned in some truly unreal performances on the mound. Armed with a pair of lefties who slot into our Top 100 for the 2026 class, both Wes Mendes and Trey Beard managed to incapacitate the opposing Wake hitters and looked like pitchers on the rise this draft cycle. Those two combined with some long relief from John Abraham, an interesting draft prospect in his own right, shutout the Demon Deacons across 16 innings, an impressive feat against a Top 15 team in the nation. Though there’s some imperfections in the profiles, all three arms bring something unique to the table and are sure to give FSU a fantastic shot at a run to Omaha.
