Raynham, Massachusetts lefty Brody Bumila was the talk of the town in 2024. A 6-foot-8-inch lefty with a 96 mph fastball mowing down hitters at Team USA's National Team Development Program at just 16 years old. 

But then he disappeared. 

A UCL injury suffered in July of that year sidelined Bumila for the rest of 2024 and almost all of the 2025 year as well. He was shut down early in the spring last year, electing to get fully healthy before returning to the mound. Bumila would still end up swinging the bat for Bishop Feehan as a junior. 

The injury on the baseball field didn't affect his ability to dominate as on the basketball court. Toward the end of the 2025 season, Bumila was reportedly averaging 22 points and 12 rebounds a game. A multi-sport star. 

Bumila is back throwing in 2026 and it's perhaps better than ever. Still …
