Blake Morningstar, the 6-foot-4-inch righty out of Wake Forest, offers one of the deepest college arsenals in recent memory. It’s a combination of pedigree, adaptability, and floor that can be hard to find in the new age of college baseball. 

Morningstar came to campus as a highly touted recruit, flashing high velocities while needing some refinement on his command. In his freshman season, he played a one-inning relief role, appearing in 28 games for 29 innings, pitching to a 7.45 ERA. He had a FIP at 7.25 to match, struggling to evade barrels while surrendering over a third of his flyballs for home runs.
